chinese lanterns and poinsettas

I wanted to capture some warm colors on this cold day, so I grabbed some of my mom's chinese lanterns that she dried and mixed them in with her pretty poinsettas. It was just the warm fix I needed to get me through this cold front.

Awesome... the 100mm macro is what we used at the wedding for the ring shots... I think I fell in love with it! I'm looking at some too, just not sure when I'll actually get one. I really want a wide angle lens. Keep me posted. We'll make sure not to get the same one next and then we can borrow each others! LOL ;)
