So me and my friends Tab, Chris and Rachel set out on another one of our small adventures this weekend. We all packed into Rachel's car and headed for the Windy City. We didn't have much of a plan which made it all the more fun. I am sure my next few posts will be dedicated to the pictures I was able to capture from this trip, so be prepared. I had a blast wandering down the all too familiar streets that I hadn't seen in much too long. We stumbled upon street performer's, gardens, fireworks and the beauty of love as pictured above. I can't wait to go back.

Isn't it interesting that something can be designed specifically to be one thing, to fulfill a designated purpose but without certain things lining up throughout time it could miss out on meeting its true potential. It just goes to show you that the process or the journey, however you want to put it, is just as important to the end result as the initial vision itself.

Tab, Chris and Aliyah got back from their trip this afternoon. Dolce and I were super excited for their return. We got to hear about all their awesome adventures; exploring a magical kingdom, feeding some playful dolphins, encountering wild animals on their safari and of course making new friends...head on over to Tab's blog if you want to see pics and hear all the awesome details. Dolce and I have been hanging the last couple days since her family left for the Florida heat. She is a firecracker. I have learned that this is her house and I am just visiting hahahahaha. We've gotten comfortable in our newfound friendship :) She lets me take pictures of her and I let her attack my feet. (At least until bedtime and I kick her out)

Today is the day. Baby Blue, her mommy and her daddy left for their exciting Florida adventure! I can't wait to hear about all the fun they have :) Even though Dolce and I will miss them!
