Advice is like snow - the softer it falls, the longer it dwells, and the deeper it sinks into the mind.

“Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind braces us up, snow is exhilarating; there is really no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather.” John Ruskin

Today Jess and I had a mini photo-shoot in the winter wonderland. Miah helped and threw up some snow for us in the background while he was shoveling the drive. It was fun and I loved how they came out. Again I couldn't decide between color and black and white so I am sharing them all. Be safe on the roads friends and have a great Thursday!

"I never set out to become anything in particular, only to live creatively and push the scope of my experience through adventure and through passion."
Chase Jarvis shared this on his blog today and I found it incredibly inspiring so I thought I'd share it with you.

Great Joy

I really love this quote. When I first read it I had a defensive feeling rise up in me, the statement about sadness really put me on edge for some reason. The more I thought about it the more I saw truth in it. For me being vulnerable with someone in my darkest moments is one of the hardest things for me to do. I've always tried to deal with things on my own. So to have someone in my life who I trust enough to not only share my laughter with but to also share my sadness is something that I definitely cherish. Thank you Lord for filling my life with wonder at your creation, adventure in the unknown, with amazing family and deep friendships, I thank you for great joy.
