"Grandma always made you feel she had been waiting to see you, just you, all day and once she did her day was complete." -Marcy DeMaree
Goodbyes are hard, especially when you know that tomorrow will never again be like today. This thursday my family and I are going to celebrate my grandma's life. We are going to remember all the beautiful things she has done and all the people she has touched. We are going to say goodbye one last time until that day we meet with her again in heaven.

ReplyDeleteThat quote sums it up... grandmas are in our lives for a very special purpose - they make us feel like the most important people on earth! Wishing you the best as you celebrate your grandma, she looks like a very beautiful person, inside and out. Take Care!
ReplyDeleteThat is a GREAT photo of you guys! You are special Bri, and will be a wonderful comfort to your mama during this time too :)
ReplyDeleteso sorry about your loss of your grandma. your words and images here for her are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteYou two look so happy. I know this time can be tough. I lost my Nanny and Big Ma within 6 months of each other about a year and 1/2 ago. I still cry about once or twice a week but I take comfort in the memories of her love. I also look forward to seeing them again. Big hug and Love you.
