“This life is yours. Take the power to choose what you want to do and do it well. Take the power to love what you want in life and love it honestly. Take the power to walk in the forest and be a part of nature. Take the power to control your own life. No one else can do it for you. Take the power to make your life happy.”

The countless hours I must spend walking alone in the wooded areas around my home, just staring up at the beautiful giant Oaks and photographing them.
I adore trees, their individual characters and spirits, the history they represent, the changing times they have witnessed. If only they could talk, I for one, would gladly listen.
Cathedral grove over on Vancouver Island is still my favourite spot where I am at one with the huge Douglas Firs.
This beautiful photograph sends me there, and fills my heart and soul with joy. A wonderful perspective and a great quote to match
Wow...that's massive!!!!
Amazing picture!!
that is so cool! Love the depth!
Those are some huge trees, LOL.
love the word 'take' in all parts of the quote...it's rarely given to you, you have to go after it, and we as believers also know it's there for the taking....great pic too, were you standing or lying down when you took it??? blessings...
SO much better than the other kind of high rise! Beautiful shot, love the perspective.
Fantastic ... you are really inspiring me to stop and really look at things! Love the quote, too!

So true. Isn't it awesome to have choice. Love this B&W of the trees. Breathtaking. I bet you that is how trees look to little kids. :)
