One of my most favorite things to do when I am exploring a new place is to find an old dive of a restaurant and experience some of the best food of that area. haha. I know it's funny but most the time if the townies go there, it's quality, and they always have the best coffee. The above is a little spot my friends and I found in Poughkeepsie, New York. When you stepped through the door it was as if you were a time traveler, and on top of the awesome decor the food was spot on. I had some of the best banana and walnut pancakes of my life and the coffee was out of this world good. I can still remember it, I have yet to visit another diner that matches it's quality. But there is always a new place to explore so my search continues.
