It's been a few weeks since my last "Shop the Trend" post, that isn't because there haven't been any trends catching my eye, it's because time has gone into warped speed since I started my new job. LOL. Well that and we are already in the month of December and I have been creating more posts focused on gifting.

All that being said, I am currently liking the coated denim trend. I like the look because it is a bit rocker and can be very chic. If done right, the denim can almost take on a leather look. At half the cost of a nice pair of leather pants, that in itself makes me extremely happy. But if I am being honest, I think it caught my eye mostly because it reminds me of when I was in High School. LOL. I don't know about you, but there was a similar sheen type look going around when I was a Sophomore and Junior, and I can tell ya I had a few pairs. With this particular trend it has taken a little while for it to reach the Plus size market, that is why I waited to share it. I wanted some nice options for those of you who are curvy like me.

When I see a trend I love I do whatever I can to find an option that suits me and my budget. This week I searched out options for the Faux-Leather Embellished Leggings trend. I've been seeing this every where; there are dozens of options in stores, you can see them featured in magazines and blogs and I don't know about you but I've seen them quite a bit on the street when I'm just out and about. I myself have already purchased one pair, I love that they can bring a little edge to an otherwise casual outfit.

We are entering a new season, my favorite season, autumn. I love the cooler temperatures, piling on lots of layers and pulling out my ankle booties. And I don't know about you, but when I see a trend I love I do whatever I can to find an option that suits me and my budget. The current trend that I can't get enough of has to be all the Army Green & Faux Leather Jackets I am seeing everywhere. Wanting to try it for myself, I searched the internet and found quite a few options for sizes ranging from 0-26 and budgets ranging from $30 - $300.
