City Streets

There is just something about the city streets, there is so much color, movement and depth. It was easy to get lost, in both direction and senses. These are just a few pics from our time in NYC that make me smile and miss the city.

Theme Park or Wilderness?

“One man's wilderness is another man's theme park”
What is somewhere that could be considered a wilderness to some, but is your personal theme park?
I am not sure if a parking garage could ever be considered a wilderness, but I know NYC as a whole could be seen in that light. For me it is an awesome ride to jump on for a short while, but a bit too chaotic for an everyday, for others it is the best ride on earth. Goes back to the old saying 'One man's trash is another man's treasure.' Good Stuff for sure :) Happy Friday!

Sometimes you just have to step away from the hussle of the day and take in some natural beauty.

Bright Lights Big City

A few snap shots from our adventure in Time Square...more to come when I find the time to go through them. Hahah

Edit: Here are some more from our night out in the lights.

NYC: The Brooklyn Bridge Adventure

Web Skyline

Of all the times I've been to NYC there were still so many things that I wanted to see. Like the Brooklyn Bridge. So one morning Tab and I decided we were going to make our way there to take some pics before she had to be to work at 1pm. We left our hotel room around 9:30am...we were told to get on the A train, but while we were waiting for the train an announcement came over the PA letting us know that the A train wouldn't be running for a while. So, we made our way back up the stairs to see what our other options were. We had a small run in with a security guard, that started off as a really high intensity reprimand and quickly changed into him giving us directions to the 2 train. We ended up getting to the Brooklyn Bridge Promenade around 11:00am and we were a good ways away from the bridge. Since Tab had to work at 1pm and she still had to get ready and we still had to find our way back, we only spent a good 25min taking pics and then we started our journey back.

It was quite the adventure. I got a few steps closer to the Brooklyn Bridge which in my book is something to celebrate.
